Computer Aided Engineering

CAE team of our designing department use CAE (Computer-Aided Engineer) software including the Mold flow analysis -(Moldex3d)、Structure analysis - Simcenter 3DStructure NX Nastran and Heat flow analysis - Simcenter 3D ESC (Electronics System Cooling),CAE team achieve the following purposes by using all above software :

  1. Using the software to find problems in the early stages of development and provide strategy for improvement.
  2. Countermeasures to deal with the actual problems that occur after the R&D mold is completed.
  3. Provide a visual communication interface to engineers according to their professional knowledge.
  4. Reduce the costs, time of development and compliant from customer.

Plastic injection mold flow analysis: Moldex 3D

Plastic injection mold flow analysis: Moldex 3D

Simulate the whole plastic injection processes by software to find out in advance if there will be problem on parting line, shrinkage, material shortage, bending, flow marks…quality issues to find out problem & have countermeasures in the earlier designing stage. With the result of simulation and engineers’ professional knowledge, we can also provide customers with proposal and recommendations.
Structure analysis - Simcenter 3D Structure NX Nastran

Structure analysis - Simcenter 3D Structure NX Nastran

Use Siemens simcenter software for structure analysis on all parts. For example, Static analysis, Linear/Nonlinear analysis, Vibration analysis. Simulate products under the outer force and with Static, Dynamic and Vibrations to see if the structure is strong enough.
Heat flow analysis Simcenter 3D ESC

Heat flow analysis Simcenter 3D ESC

Before mold kick-off and related tests, use Use Simcenter 3D ESC Heat flow analysis software input Power, Material thermal conductivity, Binding properties, temperature of the environment. Evaluate temperatures of every different parts and predict if the material will be deformed or burned out.
