What are the differences between SMD and Super Flux LEDs?

Now the main trend is SMD LEDs, since the PCB can be assembled efficiently by Auto insertion machine and Reflow. As to the Super Flux LEDs, it still takes more manual operations, it’s disadvantageous on speed and costs. Packages of LEDs are mostly in SMD type currently. But, Super Flux LED still has some advantages for special applications that SMD does not have.
